Is is done by an expert Bronchoscopist in Bronchoscopy suite or operation Theatre
For the procedure, an equipment is required ,called Bronchoscope
There are two varieties of Bronchoscope-Flexible Bronchoscope and Rigid Bronchoscope
Before the start of Bronchoscopy by a trained Bronchoscopist, the child or adult should be sedated .
Sedation should be done by an Anesthetist and in case of children ,a Pediatric Anesthetist
Patients need monitoring with Pulse oxymeter, ECG monitor / Multipara Monitor,throughout the process and few hours after the process
